The Green Demolitions Donation Program is very simple -

1. First Call - The first step is to contact Green Demolitions via e-mail/phone to let us know of a potential donation. Green Demolitions will request pictures to se sent via e-mail to evaluate.

2. Inspection - If a donation looks like it will qualify, Green Demolitions inspects the items available for donation. Once the charity agrees to accept the items, the donor would sign a simple donation agreement form.

3. Scheduling the donation - Between the inspection and the pick up date, Green Demolitions handles all necessary arrangements with the contractor, insurance certificates (where needed), and the donor.

4. Donation removal and pick up -
Green Demolitions provides free labor on many items and always free pick up. Free labor is determined at time of the inspection. Green Demolitions employs only professional and insured contractors.

5. Donation Valuation - The donation valuation may be based on the following: a) what the charity sells the items for, or b) up to $5,000 for each similar group of items. At the donor’s request, Green Demolitions will provide the resale total after the items are sold*.

6. Tax paperwork -
Green Demolitions provides the donor a contribution acknowledgment for tax purposes and all additional tax paperwork.

*Donors are responsible to claim value of tax deduction. Green Demolitions recommends donors consult their accountant regarding tax deductions.
