Donor Kudos

From Holly Brookstein

Dear Steve-
I recently donated my kitchen to Green Demolitions. I was so impressed with the process and your staff every step of the way. Paul (who first came to my house to see the kitchen) and Barbara in the office, are two of the names I remember. But everyone at your organization was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with.

I donated my kitchen because I didn't want it to end up in a landfill. But I didn't expect the process to be so easy and user-friendly. I am telling everyone I know about your terrific service. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Holly Brookstein

Barbara,
Well, your crew arrived at the scheduled time and immediately went to work. They were pleasant, diligent and especially, very careful dismantling the kitchen and removing it. I am very impressed!

I also donated a kitchen lighting fixture that I purchased many years ago in an antique shop in PA. Loved it, but don’t need it anymore.

Please thank everyone involved for making my experience with Green Demolitions so very pleasant!

Sincerely,
Patricia Wendell

From Mary Richardson Kennedy

. . . heartfelt thanks for getting our green house project off to such an exciting and inspiring start. . . . I have referred so many friends to you and hope you’re not going to be overwhelmed by all the new salvage. Bobby and I are so grateful to you for taking all the things we didn’t have the heart to throw away . . . so much ends up in landfills that doesn’t belong there. Thanks too for coming to the Shad Fest. We hope you’ll make it an annual pilgrimage. . . .

Much love & many thanks,

Mary & Bobby

Hi I am a Greendemo devotee and am currently building a home in Greenville, NY, just north of Port Jervis.

So far the Greendemo items in my house include:

My master bath toilet [Kohler] and 8'8" vanity w/ Kohler sinks, marble counter and beautiful faucets- so gorgeous!
My sons bathroom 5' vanity with marble top
My laundry room and mudroom cabinets- who has WoodMode in those rooms on a budget? I do!
Granite counter in my Mudroom, laundry room 'slop' sink
Light fixtures inside and out
My entire 1/2 bath- toilet [Kohler] and pedestal sink with Jado faucet

When we 'git 'er done' there will be pictures galore to share. Thank you Greendemo for making it possible for me to have my dreamhouse even on my budget.

Barbara,

I just wanted to let you know your crew did a terrific job. They were fast, clean and courteous - not that I expected any less, but I just wanted to pass it on to you. It feels good to recycle our old items for others to use and help out a good cause as well - and I even saved money by not having to pay someone to remove them!! I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know.

Best Regards,

I just wanted to let you know how incredibly impressed we were with your organization.

The service was incredible, the response time was "off the charts" and the "can do" attitude prevailed throughout the entire process. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I contacted your organization and I was continually pleasantly surprised throughout the entire process from the first contact I made to have our kitchen removed to purchasing a wine refrigerator at the warehouse! And if that weren't enough our kitchen gets reused, the proceeds go to an incredible cause and we get a tax deduction. I don't know how it gets any better than that.

You only had 2-3 days notice to get our kitchen out before our contractor very pleasantly reminded me that if it wasn't removed within that timeframe they would take a sledgehammer to it to keep the project on schedule.

Everybody's attitude at Green was...no problem....we'll be there. It stunned me because it's really rare that you see that kind of service anywhere! The kitchen was removed with little fanfare and no damage to it or our house and we were thrilled to see it entirely reassembled in your warehouse by that weekend! It looked so good I had a few folks ask us why we had it removed! Felt a bit guilty on answering that one! We felt like "stars" in the warehouse when your folks found out that we had donated that kitchen.

I don't know where you find such fantastic folks but where ever it is...keep that pipeline open!

We'll also be taking out a bank of windows that we'll be contacting you about shortly. Pella windows that are in great condition but we want to add another window and they don't make the model we have any longer...hence....all new windows. That's how they stay in business...just keep updating the models!

Anyway...it was a real pleasure and I wish you continued success in what you do.

Expect to read about you in Forbes or Fortune anytime soon!

Best,
Colette Chestnut
